Dear Friends and Family,

Welcome to my TNT page! Thank you kindly for taking the time to stop by.

Margaret Mead said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. It's the only thing that ever has." I am hoping to do just this: just one step at a time.

• I'm training to run in the San Diego Rock and Roll Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.
• On Sunday, June 6th, I will run 13.1 miles, and I hope you will cheer me on that morning.
• I am raising $2,100 to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
• I am running 13.1 miles in honor of more than 823,000 people battling blood cancers.
• I am running 13.1 miles in honor of all people battling any form of cancer.
• I am running 13.1 miles to honor teammates like Amanda Zachry, an 8 year old third grade girl -much like my own 8 year old daughter- who is finally cancer free, yet must endure blood checks, heart monitoring, and spinal taps.
• I am running 13.1 miles to honor my neighbor who is currently enduring cancer.
• I am running 13.1 miles to honor Agnes who succumbed to cancer.

The training and the run are personal physical and mental challenges for me, but Amanda and all of our friends/family battling cancer are the real heroes, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line!
