Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I'm training to participate as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training for the Nike Women's Marathon October 18, 2009! This is my first marathon, so I am excited and scared! This will be a great opportunity and experience!


At this time, my donations haven't been transferred to my new page. I am currently at $2,845 and my goal is $3,450. I couldn't have done this without the support of all my friends and family! But there is still so much more to do.


I ask you all to please send the information you see here to all of your friends and family. By spreading the word, others will be made aware of LLS and might be able to help with my goal. Even if they send an email to give fundraising ideas, it's all extremely helpful!


Every donation counts no matter how "small" you think it is. I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently, I will update my progress as the season goes on. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.


What do your donations give to patients?


A donation of $25 provides patients and their loved ones with FREE booklets that contain up-to-date information on their disease and help them make informed decisions about their treatment options.


A donation of $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.


A donation of $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for a cure.


A donation of $1,000 makes possible one- on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.
