Racing to Save Lives



Welcome to my Team In Training home page.



I'm training to participate in Carlsbad Marathon '09 event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.



I am completing this event in honor of my fiance Tim McGough who's life was shattered when he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma a year ago. Devastating as it may seem it was a wake up call, to take on life with a different outlook . To realize that life is fragile when most of us feels untouchable. Yes untouchable, but being affected and touched by cancer we learned to appreciate and live life like we mean it. Celebrating love, family and friends every waking momment.

To all individuals who are battling blood cancers who have shown fire and grace. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
