To My Friends and Family

First I would like to once again thank everyone who has donated for their previous donations-I have hit my fundraising minimum. I was going to stop asking everyone for more donations and wait until the next season-because I knew I was going to be doing another season.

Then I was given a terrible reminder as to why I am doing this fundraising. Today I received news that my dad’s blood cancer has come back in a different form. He will be starting treatment next week.

I am asking for your support in the only way that can make a difference, and that’s to donate to help find the cure. If you have not had a chance to donate yet, it’s not too late!

As our family stays strong and kicks this cancer’s butt-I will continue training for the Tahoe Century and raise money to find the cure for this nasty disease!

$8.5 MILLION DOLLARS!!!

I'm back in California...after opening up a hotel in Baltimore and having another one of the "greatest experience of my life" I moved back to San Diego to create some more wonderful experiences!

My bike got here before I did, was built and tuned up before my plane landed! I was riding with the team within 36 hours of when I landed....35 miles. Ouch.....and within the first minute of seeing the smiling faces of the team-I was back on.

I am a mentor for the San Diego Tahoe Cycling team. That means...that I help to share my love for Team in Training with everyone on the team, ride my bike and help find a cure for cancer!!!

For those of you that don't know my dad-that is him in the picture. That picture is from Tahoe 2008 at the finish line. Dad has been in remission since January of 2008! I will be riding for him! Last time I participated in this event-the team raised $8.5 million dollars for blood cancer research!!!! Yes, that said millions!
