Cycling to Save Lives ... One Mile at a Time
Welcome to my Team in Training (TNT) home page!
I'm training to participate in a 100-mile endurance bike ride around Lake Tahoe in June as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training.
All of us on Team in Training are raising funds to help stop blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma) from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor of my cousin, Kathy Ann, who passed away from blood cancer at just 25 years old - way too young for such a beautiful person to be taken from us!
I'm also racing for individuals who are battling blood cancers right now. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team in Training and help advance LLS's mission.
I hope you will visit my Web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. I'll also be blogging about my training at www.jennypeterson.wordpress.com, so check that out as well.
I sincerely thank you for your support!
Go TEAM!
