Lori's Fundraising Page

Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
I'm a member of a very important team. I've taken on a new challenge, and you know me, I've got to go big in everything that I do. I've joined the mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers.
And how will I do this, you ask. I'm gonna be a Triathalon Babe!
That's right, I'm swimming, cycling, and running my way to the finish line, and all in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's drive to find a cure. A cure for the cancers that took my cousin Estelle, my Uncle Jim and his wife, my Aunt Bunny. The cancers that put my best friend's mom, Mowani into treatment for lung cancer. Thanks to the research funded by LLS; I know the treatments that kept my Uncle Jim alive to see his daughter graduate, and put Mowani into remission will continue to serve patients and their families, and are the result of the ongoing fundraising that LLS has done over many years.
To help accomplish the mission of LLS, I’m participating in my 1st Triathalon as a member of Team In Training. Like all members of TNT, I am raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life, improving my health, by participating in these endurance events, and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
I want to thank you for reading my page, and I appreciate your generous donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training to help advance the research for cures for cancer.
I would love to keep in touch, and show you how I'm progressing in my training. You can see me and what I'm doing on my blog: The Renaissance Femme
