THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!!

I told her I was running to cure cancer and really I am running just for her.

Dawn wasn't one to work out so she laughed and told me I was crazy for wanting to run one mile much less 13.1!

Dawn was diagnosed on March 19, 2008 and lost her fight on January 8, 2009. After under going three rounds of Chemo, full body radation, and a blood transplant her CML won. Dawn is and now will always be my hero . She fought with grace, patience, and courage. She personally inspired me to run this half marathon in her honor, now memory.

Double D was very near and dear to me. We spent many a Thursday on her couch watchin Grey's. It was almost poetic that she passed on a Thursday. Mike and her family were kind enough to let Shane and myself be there when she passed.

Dawn went through so much in the last few months that now I'm even more dedicated to serving her by participating in this event to raise money for a cure to all Cancers. To learn more about what Dawn went through with her Leukemia PLEASE check her blog out at www.goshdawnit.com

I am asking for your finacial support with my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

And for Dawn please take a minute to sign up for the National Bone Marrow Registry or to give blood.

Thank you for the support and keep her AMAZING boyfriend Mike (who was by her side this whole time) and her parents ( Mr. and Mrs. Nelson) in your thoughts and Prayers! They need love and support at this time of need.
