Team Almendra
Welcome to Terri's homepage.
I'm training to participate in The Nike Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor sixteen year old Almendra. Ali, a former student, is fighting the battle against Leukemia. She has two years of chemotherapy ahead of her. This strong young lady told me, "At first I was afraid, but I believe in God and I'm going to be fine." Ali is the real hero and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
