Running to Save Lives


Welcome to my Team In Training page; in honor of Chris Shower!


I'm training to participate in the Nike Womens Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives!


I am completing the half marathon this season, in honor of my friend's husband, Chris. Chris is currently battling with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He has an amazingly compassionate wife and two beautiful young girls helping him with his fight and I want to do what little I can to suport him and his family. Chris and countless more people are the real heroes on our team though, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
