Riding to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page. As many of you know over that last two years I have been on a path towards bettering my health, and 2010 is no different. This year I have decided to participate in "America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride" a 100 mile ride around Lake Tahoe!!! I hope that training for this ride will help me in my weight loss goals.
As a member of Team In Training, I receive access to professional coaches and mentors for free that will help me reach my goal of riding 100 miles on my bicycle. But I also need your help in raising $2,300 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
