Miles for Mason

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I am back for my second season with Team In Training and I am running in the Nike Women's Marathon in October. I will continue to run as long as my body will allow and raise awareness and funds for blood cancers until a cure is found.

My inspiration is my 6 year old son Mason. He has been through 4 years of chemotherapy, and radiation to treat childhood Leukemia. He is a hero to most who know him. He takes it all in stride and works hard at being a normal kid. He will be done with his treatment in March of 2010 but the side effects are life-long.

It is my hope that through the funds raised a cure will be found and no other family will have to endure what our family and so many others have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will run the full marathon in San Francisco in October - each step closer to a cure and each step for my brave little boy Mason.
