Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I can officially say that I am starting to feel a little tired. My toes are the only part of me that are suffering at this point...no missing toenails yet. I am so excited about the upcoming silent auction on September 18, 2009. It promises to be a great time. You can view all of the events on my website www.adriennehedrickdds.com. I just wanted to let everyone know that my training is going well. Exactly 7 weeks from now I will be running through San Francisco for 26.2 miles. I am very excited about the opportunity.

At our training run yesterday I had the honor of meeting a woman whom is also part of Team in Training that currently has lymphoma. Despite the fact that it is incurable, she lives everyday to the fullest. This is the motivation that will keep me running 5 days a week, in the grueling heat to find a cure.

I also am so excited to announce that on September 11, 2009, I will be having a silent auction in Longmont, CO. It will be a great opportunity to meet more people in the community and also raise money for the cause. Please check www.adriennehedrickdds.com for all of the details.
