Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my new Team In Training home page.

I made my first fundraising goal thanks to my amazing friends and family! Thank you!!

I have now completed my first full marathon and I will continue training to run the Denver Marathon on October 17. The marathon was an amazing experience, but it was hard. Thinking of my friends and family who supported me and thinking of the people I was running in honor and in memory of is what got me through the race.

Here is a picture of me after my first full marathon in San Diego. I am still smiling after 26.2 miles :-)

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
