Walking to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Joan & I are training to participate in the Denver Marathon, an endurance event, walking as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
We are completing this event in honor of everyone battling blood cancers, and especially for our friend Dave Eckberg, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2002, and for Kelley O'Dell who was diagnosed with Lymphoma recently. Dave, Kelley (both have recently completed treatments), and people like them are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Both Joan & reached our original fundraising goals, so all additional donations are especially welcome. So please make a donation to support our participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
