Hey Friends, Family, Co-workers, or people I don't know at all (which is OK because this is a great cause)!

Here's what's goin on...I'm riding my bike 100 miles on June 3rd, 2012 in a ride called America's Most Beautiful Ride around Lake Tahoe! I'm riding with a group called Team in Training through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I'm doing this to raise money to help research and fight Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma.

Here's why...one, cancer is bad and anyone who has been afflicted and knows someone who has had it can tell you, "CANCER SUCKS!" Two, my wife had cancer. In the fall of 2005, Lindsay was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. After some major surgery and months of chemotherapy, the doctors told us the cancer was gone. She has since been pronounced cancer-free!

I think of it like this...a whole bunch of years ago, someone (maybe like you and me) donated money to doctors trying to research Hodgkins Lymphoma and because of that, the chemo drugs that saved my wife's life were developed. Today, if I can help raise money and donate the same way, maybe someday there won't be a treatment for this terrible disease, but a cure.
