Beating cancer one mile at a time.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
In September 2010, our daughter--Emmy--was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is now in her second year of treatment and is doing great. I'm training to participate in a 100 mile bicycle race in June as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I have seen first hand that the money raised through organizations and events such as this have made tremendous strides in treatment and have helped to give Emmy a very good prognosis, but there is still more to do. I am completing in this event in honor of Emmy and all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

Please feel free to pass my website and our story on to family and friends. The more people we can help to bring into the fight against cancer, the closer we'll be to a cure. Thanks for your support!
