Racing to Save Lives

Hi and Welcome to my Team In Training page.

I decided it's time to give back and hit the streets. Literally. I have joined Team in Training (TNT) with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to raise money to SAVE LIVES! I'm running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, CA on October 18th and I am in the process of raising $4000 prior to the run.

I know 26.2 miles sounds crazy, but I guess you can say I'm crazy enough to do it. Honestly it's something I want do at some point in my life. So why not NOW??

The W Salon and I have also teamed up to help raise money. We are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win FREE services for you and 3 friends. That's a free cut & style, manicure, and facial! Please help me with this "LIFE GOAL"as well as the opportunity to help save lives and find the cure for these blood cancers. I am completing this event in honor of all the individuals battling blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. These people are the real heroes on our team, and I need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

7/28: Sooooo excited!! I hit a milestone. I did it!! I ran 14 miles and I feel great. WOW...this feels good!!

8/2: Had an AWESOME fundraiser at Stop & Shop in Seekonk, MA! Thank you Ryen, Jenn, Jianna, Jeremiah, Traci, and of course Sherlock for coming out to help and for their suport.
