Welcome to my Team In Training home page. That is me in the back left.
I am once again training to participate in the 100 mile bike ride as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This will be my forth ride for the LLS team, and after last years great ride, I am almost excited about 8 + hours on a bike seat. With a statement like that, I am not sure who I am anymore, but it is for a tremendous cause and your support can change the lives of so many. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, several of them I know personally. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Like in past years, I will update you periodically on my training. I started my initial ride on 2/21/2011, and I have a long way to go!! I guess it is not as easy to get in shape after you turn 40. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!

Also, for those in the Rhode Island/Mass area, I am planning on having a fundraising golf tournament on May 22nd (Sunday) at Foster Country Club in RI. Let me know if you are interested and I can provide more details.
