Relentless For a Cure!!!

Cancer doesn't give up, so neither do we. Heidi, Carolee & Emily are once again taking on cancer one step at a time in the Nike Women's Marathon on October 17, 2010.

And yes, we are, once again, asking for your support. You have many ways to do that. Click and give money, contact your local TnT Chapter and sign up for an event, or get in the lab and find the cure. Pretty simple.

Giving money is the easiest, signing up is the most fun, and working in the lab is probably the most difficult, unless of course you do that for fun, and then well...

Anyway, I do these races, and ask you for support so no other family has to ever hear that their loved one has a blood related cancer, and there is nothing more they can do for them. Right now my friend Laurence is fighting for his life. He's found a match for a marrow donation. The money raised right here with Team in Training helped the research that makes that possible, created programs that offer assistance patients in treatment financially and emotionally and provides for all the little things that you and I have never even thought of when considering cancer.

I'll try to update regularly on how we're doing this season. Mom and I will be training together in Vancouver/Portland, and Emily is up in Seattle. First training is 5/22!
