A huge thank you goes out to all of you who have donated to help us reach our team goal of raising $3,000 to fight blood cancers. Anyone else who has not yet donated but would like to, please also make a donation as every dollar is needed to find a cure.
We are looking forward to giving each of you a personal thank you once we complete the race (we have to do our part now !!)
Thank you once again, Jim & Sue
Update on Kate: She is undergoing a bone marrow transplant in her continued fight against cancer - she and everyone listed below are special reasons we are in TNT and trust they inspired your donations as well.
Thank you to all who have donated to our Team In Training goal of $3000. We are almost there!! Help us reach our goal and make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Our friend Ron Schwada is battling multiple myeloma and one of the reasons we are in Team In Training. Ron and his wife Linda are seen here enjoying the beauty of Hawaii. Help us raise the resources to find a cure and enable many more trips to paradise.
Our latest word on Kate is she is corageously fighting her cancer. She will undergo a bone marrow transplant after chemo. She will be in isolation until that time to protect her from virual infections. Please pray for Kate to sleep well, find pleasure in books and gifts she receives, and undergo treatment without side effects.
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these, you are doing it to me." Matthew 25:40
Jesus sees our love for Kate as unto Him.
Shortly after Kate's 5th birthday in January she completed her "final" chemo treatment on Feb. 11th. Unfortunately her cancer has returned in only a few short days. She found out yesterday that she will have to start chemo again shortly and will be admitted in Portland tomorrow.
We desperately need your support as continued research is essential for finding a cure. Kate has spend half of her life courageously fighting cancer. It really puts it all in perspective when I feel like complaining about having to train in the rain or have a few aches and pains.
Help us reach our goal of $3,000. Together with our other Team In Training team mates we will raise over $100,000 to help Kate and so many others fighting cancer.
