Racing to Save Lives
Thank you for helping me fight cancer.
I'm training to participate in the Portland Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I ran 6 miles last Saturday and plan to try to run at least 8 miles at tomorrow's training. My doctor says that if I can run more than 10 miles that I can still take part in the marathon, I will just have to walk part of it. I'm gonna do it, just you wait and see!

If you would like me to run the marathon with a message written on one of my limbs I am offering this service for $50 per limb. I can run in honor of someone and write their name, I can advertize a product, or I can simply write "Bob is awesome". Pretty much whatever you request. When you make a donation there is an option to send me a message, just include your request when you make your donation. Keep in mind, I only have four limbs and with any luck they will go fast. Order while supplies last!
