It was a success! It was amazing! It felt great through all three legs of the race, and I am really happy with my results. All in all, a great triathalon!
Preparation was a grueling 5 months of training. Seven days a week -- it literally took over my life! I had to get up at 6:00 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday starting January to run, bike, or swim (first in an indoor pool, then eventually the open water) and 90% of the time in the freezing rain! It was worth it. I finally completed a triathlon to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which took place at the Pacific Crest Sports Festival in Sunriver last Sunday. I hope my father would be proud. The entire team raised over $192K for the organization.
I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for your donations. Without you, I wouldn't be able to do this race. Your donation and support is very much appreciated as this cause is very close to my heart. You are helping saving lives. You are awesome!
I am committed to doing one fundraising triathlon every year with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I am counting on you to support me again. Thank you very much for your help!
