Never underestimate the power of family, friends and total strangers. We were drawn together by a common bond - our future: to fund & find a cure in memory of my sister, to those that lost the fight and those that survive and thrive. THANK YOU ALL!

On Friday, October 16, with your generous support, I was awarded #1 Top Fundraiser in the nation in San Francisco. The award was presented by 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson. My sister Pam from North Carolina along with my husband Geoff and daughter Devan were there to celebrate. I was also the keynote speaker for this event so it was doubly special yet bittersweet. Just last year, my sister Nancy sat in the same room with me. Her passing in June of this year makes our work that more urgent.


Saturday two other sisters Tracey and Debbie joined us from Virginia; Sunday was race day. 20,000 women and a few good men took to the streets of San Francisco. It was breath taking to see such a sea of fighters. When racing, my mantra is: "No Need for Speed" but when it comes to funding and finding a cure, it has to be "Need for Speed"! Let's keep working together until we can all celebrate a cure which I know is within our reach!
