Racing to Save Lives
Hi! Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's Marathon event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. For those of you who know me well, you know that this is a BIG step. I have always said I wasn't a runner and, until now, nothing was going to change my mind. Then, I was introduced to Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am made the choice to complete this 1/2 marathon to honor those individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
