Back for 2008!
After completing the Honolulu Marathon in December 2007 to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) , I am back at it this year, training to run the Nike Womens Half Marathon in San Francisco October 19, 2008.
Why you ask?
I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please join me in helping to fight cancer and make a donation to help advance the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission. Don't underestimate the value of your contribution. By deciding to donate any amount, you have acknowledged that this is a cause worth working for, and have signaled your approval of my participation. Consider giving up the cost of a latte, or a pedicure, or a tank of gas (!) and click it here instead. It's worth the sacrifice.
Thanks for your support!
