Back for 2008!



After completing the Honolulu Marathon in December 2007 to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) , I am back at it this year, training to run the Nike Womens Half Marathon in San Francisco October 19, 2008.



Why you ask?

  • Because 2008 is the 5-year-postdiagnosis (leukemia) anniversary for my son, Evan!
  • Because 2008 is the 20th Anniversary of Team in Training and we are going to attempt to hit the $1 Billion mark in funds raised!
  • Because despite the advances that have been made in blood cancer treatment, people are still diagnosed daily with these terrible diseases.


I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
