Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Mitchell Whitaker (L), lost his battle to Leukemia on September 27, 2007...he was only 10 years old. It was his dream to find a cure for blood cancers and it's in his memory that I am running.
As you can see, I have surpassed my goal of raising $3600!! And I'm just 6 days from running the half marathon. I'm looking forward to it, and can't believe it is already here. This has been an amazing expierience and I'm lucky that I've been able to share it you all of you. Thank you so much for you donations! Thank you so much for your words of support! And thank you so much for your prayers! When I cross the finish line on Sunday, I have no doubt that there will be tears. And some of those will be for the countless ways that you, my family and friends, have helped me reach a goal that on my own I would of never met! I love you all, and I pray that God blesses each one of you that have been a blessing to me!
Thank you for helping make a difference in someone's life.
Please continue to remember me, as well as the other 49 girls who will be running the PF Chang's Half Marathon, in your prayers.
Though my race is nearing the end, it's still a very long race for those battling cancer. Please continue to support these charities in finding a cure for Leukemia.
