Running to Save Lives in the memory of Mitchell Whitaker
Hello friends. I am overwhelmed with all the wonderful friends, family, and strangers who have already donated to my cause. I'm getting closer and closer to my goal!
We're up to 10 miles on our long runs and if I can survive this Oklahoma heat I might be able to survive the hills of San Francisco!

For those of you that don't know the Whitaker's story here's a little from their website. www.gomitchgo.com
At the age of 8, Mitchell was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He valiantly battled for 26 months. Despite the pain of his treatments, Mitchell never quit. However, the cancer eventually gained the upper hand and Mitchell went to be with Jesus at the age of 10 years and 4 months. His last words were, Keep Fighting - the theme that his family had adopted since his initial diagnosis.
I met this family before John and Tracy were even dating! I have celebrated happy times with them and grieved tragedy with them. Through everything they have trusted God and given Him the glory. They are living examples of faith in God. I am honored to call them friends.
But to help other families who are going through the same pain I need your help. Will you join me in the fight with a donation?
If you feel lead to help me, please do so here on the website. You will receive a confirmation of your donation by e-mail and I will be notified as soon as you make it. If you can donate $5 that's wonderful. If you can donate $500 that's wonderful. Any amount will help further this cause. Please keep checking back and follow my progress.
If you would prefer to write a check made out to LLS, you can mail it to me at 4604 N. Donald, Bethany, OK 73008.
Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma and gets me one step closer to crossing the finish line.
On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I greatly appreciate your generosity.

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would spread the word to your friends and family to encourage them to donate as well. Every little bit helps!
