Hi Everyone!

You all must know the drill by now, and yes, I am at it AGAIN. I am proud to say that this will be my FIFTH race with TNT! By the time I do this race, it will have been almost 2 years since my last TNT event. During that time period, millions of people have been battling cancer and beating it bc of treatments discovered through funding that my supporters and I raised over the past few years. It's time again, to give back and remind myself of how lucky I am to be able to run a race, just because I want to. I do these races because I CAN, and to help those who CAN'T.

This cause means a lot to me, for a number of reasons. Friends, family, and millions of people who I have never met, but have had a chance to help save their lives. We all have our personal connection to cancer, so everyone should have a reason to give. Every little bit counts, so please don't feel bad if all you can give is a few bucks. It all adds up!!

For those of you who aren't familiar with TNT and LLS: I'm training to participate in the San Diego Rock N Roll Half Marathon, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

HUGE shout out to my sister, Michelle, who will be doing Lavaman '11 as her first TNT event, this April in Hawaii AND to Lil' G who will be running this race with me in June. Her brother, Jon, is a Lymphoma survivor!! Go Team!!!
