Racing to Save Lives
Friday, June 11th, 2010
Well, it is finished. I am FINALLY fully recovered from last weeks AMAZING events and I have some time to tell you all about it. This will be my final entry. (This post is also on my blog with PICTURES from race weekend.)
Last Saturday (the day before the race) was pretty busy. Kellen and I went to Lakeside High School to help Colin with the final SAT testing of the school year. He is in charge of ALL the SAT testing at the school. (And does a fine job might I add). There were over 500 students taking the test so he needed some extra hands. We arrived around 7am and helped out until about 9. It's funny, the one week I needed to get plenty of rest by going to bed early, eating right and just relaxing turned out to be the most crazy-busy week of the year! (Isn't that how it always happens?)
Kellen stayed with Colin the rest of the day and I met up with some of my team mates in Temecula to carpool down to San Diego. Our hotel was off of Friars road somewhat near the Charger stadium. Upon arriving we parked under the hotel near the elevator (thinking we were smart because we would have to haul our luggage a shorter distance) only to find out that it was the service entrance where all deliveries were made! (Go figure). So, we put all our luggage back in the car and headed up to the main entrance of the hotel. It was $15 a night to park in regular parking (um... no thank you), so we parked a little farther away. Thankfully we were still pretty early so we checked in and dropped off luggage.
We met up with the rest of our team for lunch (the beginning of my carb load) and then headed to the trolly (wow that part was confusing) to the Expo at the San Diego Convention Center. It was HUGE! I wasn't prepared for all the vendors and excitement and the crowd! We were given a TON of free samples of all sorts of things. I wish I would have brough my Garmin watch with me, I could have had them help me out with my wrist band (Kellen broke it a while back). Any way, so after we picked up our race packets and goodies, we headed back to the trolly. I was VERY thankful I wore my running shoes and not flip flops.
We finally made it back to the hotel and had to rush to the TNT meeting. It was basically a celebration of funds raised and pats on the back for the top fundraisers from the Inland Empire and Orange County areas. One of my teammates, Judy, pictured in an earlier post below... was the top fundraiser. She raised over $7,000! He husband Peter passed away last year from blood cancer. We found out some pretty amazing statistics. Let me relay them to you:
- Our Temecula Team raised, over $85,000!!! (There were only 25 people on our team!!)
- The OCIE chapter raised almost $400,000!! That will provide funds for doctors to research and find cures for the next 4 years!!
- The top fundraiser was from New York raising over $53,000!!!
- There were 4,000 TNT participants that ran the marathon and half marathon and we raised a total of 12 millon dollars!!!
It felt really great to be a part of such an amazing cause. After our team meeting we had a chance to get washed up for our Inspiration Dinner. We had to ride the trolly again (oh dear) and then we walked to a near by hotel and had dinner. Pasta, salad, chicken and even cookies!! It was REALLY good. I was suprised at how great it tasted since they had to feed 4,000 people.
John Bingham (he writes an article in Runner's World Magazine called, "The Penguin's Chronicles") was the guest speaker. He is an average man that has just happened to run over 45 marathons! He was really funny and encouraging for our race. We also had a survivor guest speaker that participated in the race with us. All in all it was a great evening.
We headed back to the hotel and prepped for race day. Suprisingly I think I went to sleep before 10 pm. It went by so fast before I knew it, it was 3:20 am and time to wake up! Everything I needed had been layed out the night before and I got ready in less than 10 minutes. We checked in with TNT and then hopped on the charter bus that took us to the start line. It was pitch black when we arrived. I had my water jug over my shoulder and somehow it leaked all over my back! Terri was kind enough to let me have a sweatshirt that I could take off and "toss" after mile one. It was a Great Oak High School sweatshirt, ha ha!
We took some photos (and went to the bathroom 3 times) before the race finally started. I wish I was not so competitve because it would have been great to run with my camera and take pictures along the course. I can't remember much of it. I do remember running past the Natural History Museum, Petco Park and the Convention Center. We ran on the 163 North Freeway, got off the freeway near the Charger's Stadium, we ran near a gas station I have stopped at many times before driving home, we ran along the bay and Fiesta (Satan's) Island, and finally finished in the Sea World parking lot. There were some interesting views along the way. Including several people (male and female) dressed up like Elvis. One man drank a beer around mile 10. There was a man wearing a diaper with a blow up monkey around his neck. LOTS of TNT purple shirts,
At the half way point (13.1 miles) I was at 1:58 and felt great, I thought for sure that I would finish in under 4 hours and make my goal time of 3:55. However, when we reached Fiesta Island, or as I now call it Satan's Island I almost had to walk! Up until that point there was a band every mile, with plenty of water stops and TONS of people cheering you on. However, once we hit the island, the breeze stopped, the sun was out by this time and my face was on fire! I just took my final Gu at mile 20 and was ready to quit. I didn't stop, but I am pretty sure my mile pace was WAY off. I finally made it around the back side of the island and there was a great breeze. The last band was pretty lame (why would you play slow music during a marathon??) I finally made it to the final mile, and I spotted my coach (Brian) wearing his bright green shirt. He was cheering me on, and I MADE him run with me the rest of the way. He was able to pick up my pace so I finished really hard. It would have been fantastic to have him on the back side of Satan's Island running with me, but he did have to coach 24 other people.
I finally made it across the finish line with a time of 4:04.08, (1,939th place out of 10,000 over all ha ha!) roughly 10 minutes off of my goal time. When I finished, I said to myself... no way I do this again. But after almost a week of recovery I am now thinking, heck yes! Is there anyone I can train with in Lake Elsinore?? I am too competitive to leave this distance without making my goal time. I LOVE the half marathon and will continue to compete at that distance for as long as my body will let me, but I have to find friends to run with to train for the full. It is very time consuming and hard to drive all the way to Temecula to run, but I am so glad I did it at least once!
THANK YOU so much to everyone that donated and inquired about my journey! I am so glad that I was a part of this marathon. My dad (yes my 54 year old stud-of-a-father), husband (his second half marathon) and brother in law (first half marathon) completed the half and I am pretty sure I have made Jon (my brother in law) into a half marathon-er. Looking forward to the next race!!
If you are interested in running with Team in Training just let me know. I can answer most of your questions and lead you in the right direction!
Thanks again!!!!!
Happy running everyone!!!

Alright, what a month it was! It sorta flew by and I didn't even realize I had not posted an update in a while. Thank you everyone for your help by donating to TNT! The fundraising minimum has been made and the stress of raising the funds is gone with it. Now, I just have to run 26.2 miles and try not to die. :-)
Our training has tapered... I only had to run 10 miles Saturday! Usually that wouldn't be a problem at all, but we were out of town in Yuma and I had to run 10 miles on a tredmil!
Tonight we have a meeting with the TEAM to go over race weekend info. I was sent an email that had a link to a website that allows you to track my progress while I race. CLICK HERE if you want to check it out. I think it sends youe text messages when I reach certain distances in the race. I haven't had a chance to look at the page yet, but I know of people that have used it in the past.
Well, 4 days until I race... starting to get nervous! Have a great rest of your week everyone!
Friday, May 14th, 2010
Hey everyone! Just getting ready to head off to bed. I have to run 20 miles tomorrow!! Gotta get a good night sleep. Colin and Kellen got me this new Gatorade 1-2-3 drink that has 3 different types of supplement to take at different times for my run (pre, during and post). I am going to try them out tomorrow and see how it goes.
I found out that the official donation deadline is May 19th!! At that point the remaining bill ($312.40) will be charged to my credit card. If you were planning on making a donation, the best (and fastest way at this point) is to donate online. It takes less than a minute and it completely safe/confidential. Colin and I donated this way on multiple occassions. If you would rather mail in your donation, please still make it out to LLS and mail it to me and I will mail it off ASAP.
Thank you again to all that have traveled this LONG journey with me. Less than a month to go! AHHH!!! Our team (Team Temecula) has raised almost $80,000 bucks! And the entire Inland Empire-Orange County team has raised almost $600,000!
Have a great weekend everyone!!

It has been a little while since I checked in. Training has been going well, I am getting closer to my goal and the race will be here before you know it. Thanks to some friends in San Diego, my chiropractor Jerry Raskey, and all of you that have already donated, I only have $312.60 left to raise!
This past weekend my family and I spent the weekend at the beach with my dad. Which meant I had to train on my own on Saturday without the team. I had to run 18 miles. I was nervous that I would go crazy running that distance by myself. Thankfully my husband was able to run half of it with me as part of his training for the 1/2 marathon. The weather was nice and cool, and the scenery wasn't too shabby either. We have our last 20 miler next weekend and then we begin to taper.
If you all would please pray for my honorary team mate Jeannine. Her illness isn't allowing her to keep food down, and she is very tired. Please pray for strength and encouragement.
Have a great week everyone!

Alright, last weekend was quite interesting. We had a 15 mile run this past weekend, which I was actually looking forward to and the run was going great until about mile 13. My stomach started to bother me and so my running buddy Terri and I found a restroom. She was kind enough to ask the man working behind the table if we could use the restroom even though the sign in the window said, "Customers Only." I think he said yes because she was so nice. I was thankful that she asked for me. It was the start of a not so great weekend. I made it back to my car and got home ok. I was even alright while visiting with some old friends from college (hard to believe I graduated 7 years ago). When I got home my stomach ache kicked back in, and stayed all night and the next day. I was in the bathroom more than the bedroom and it was not cool. Thankfully it was not running related, just the stomache flu or something. Monday morning arrived and I was just fine. My son and I went on a 8 mile bike ride Monday, I completed my speed workout Tuesday with flying colors and tomorrow I have to run 10 miles (and a 1 mile warm-up).
I have $537.40 left on my fundraising, and the deadline is the beginning of May. If you would still like to make a 100% tax deductible donation or you know of someone that would like to donate please let them know or let me know. :-) Doesn't look like I will be able to have the garage sale in time for the deadline. My mother-in-law was very kind to offer, but our schedules don't seem to line up. I may have to have the sale just to pay off the credit card that they will charge if I don't make all the money, ha ha! I hate deadlines, so stressful!
Have a great rest of your week everyone!!

OK, so we did it AGAIN!! 20 miles! WOW!! We drove down to Solana Beach, and took the AMTRAK train to Oceanside and then ran back to Solana Beach. Running through, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Leucadia, Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, and then finally reaching Solana Beach. That is 15 1/2 miles. SO, my running buddy Terri and I had to add another 4 1/2. We weren't sure where to go so we did a few small loops. Finally finishing by the train station, changing into NON-sweaty clothes, ordering a piece of pizza, a salad and a glass of beer. (we burned 2400 calories, so a beer- and LOTS of water, is ok). I was "stick a fork in me" done when we ended. Headed to the chiropractor on Monday, the knee is sore. No real pain, just sore. I have a few pictures to upload, but the one below is of Judy (Terri's aunt), my running buddy Terri, and Me. Happy Sunday to you all!

Wow what a week! Thursday's Spirit Night at Chick Fil A was a big hit! I made $97.00 in funds on the spin for food wheel (thought it was $102, but I counted wrong). And I find out how much I made from people getting food next week. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to eat, spin the wheel, and hang out!
I will be teaming up with Shelley (AKA the-lady-in-law) this Sunday to help organize her garage a little and have another yard sale on Saturday April 24th. If you have an "junk" you don't want that you would like to donate to the sale please let me know so I can arrage a pick up!
Finally, if you have mentioned that you were planning on donating and you haven't yet (Mike Carroll, the Naylor's, DAD!!) please do it ASAP!! My fundraising deadline is May 16th. At that point, they BILL ME for the remaining total!! Yikes!) If you have any great fundraising ideas, please let me know!!! It's coming down to the wire!!
For those that have been helping in every way possible; prayers, funds, supportive words and ideas, thanks so much!
Tomorrow is a 20 mile run! They call it the "train run". We drive down to Solana Beach, take a train (Amtrak) to Oceanside, and then run the coast back to where we started. It sounds exciting (even though getting up at 4:50 am does not sound exciting). I will let you all know how it goes! If I remember, I will take pictures too!
Have a GREAT weekend everyone!!

Wow it has been a whole week! I had to take an entire week off from running because I was sick, and today was my first day back. I really missed it! My life has very few things in it, but church, family and running are pretty consistant and a week without it was just plain weird. I had my first sprint workout on the track and it went well. I wonder if I will be sore tomorrow.
The big night is coming up! Thursday at Chick Fil A in Murrieta!!! Come one come all! AND BRING ALL YOUR FRIENDS!!!! If you get there early they are giving away chicken nuggest. There will also be a winning spinning wheel. You pay $1.00 and any monetary place that it lands on automatically adds MORE money to the team in training donations!! CLICK HERE FOR LINK TO PRINT FLYER!!!
I have $855.00 left to raise and it is coming down to the wire! No reason to wait now! If you were planning on making a donation there is no time like now! You can even donate twice!! (Thanks Shelley!!) 100 percent tax deductible!!
Well everyone, I hope you can all make it to Thursday's big event!! Also, if you are not busy on June 6th, my race starts in down town San Diego at 6:30am and I will be running until hopefully no later than 10:30am!!
Have a great week! I have a 20 miler on Saturday!!
Tuesday, April 6, 2010
Hey Guys!
Been feeling under the weather since yesterday. I have a sore throat and I am severly congested (boo). I hate being sick. I have been resting all day except when Kellen and I went outside to get some fresh air.
We ran 18 miles last weekend... it was rough. I felt sort of slow and sluggish, but I got it done. I am not sure how training is going to go this week. I have to contact my coach and see how I should modify it so it doesn't make me more sick. But I don't want to back track too much. Pray for healing!!
I want to thank everyone who purchased a candle again for your support. They have been ordered and should arrive shortly. I have not cashed any checks yet. The candles are actually being hand delivered, and then I will write one check to the distributor at that time and put the checks into my account. I made $90.00 that will go directly to my funds.
ALSO- Mark your calendars!!! Thursday, April 15th at the Chick Fil A in Murrieta will be a Spirit night. If you order food there between 5 and 8 pm and mention that you are with Mindie Gilliland and Team in Training (or bring in the flyer that I will try to post) TWENTY percent of your order will be donated to TNT!!! Good food and good company, plus a night off from cooking!! I will add the flyer to this post after I receive them, and you can print them right off my page!
Have a great week everyone, I am going to try to recover!!
Here is a new picture of me and my team!
That is me in the dark blue... next to me on the right is Cecilia, breast cancer survivor. Top FAR right is Terri, my running buddy. Next to Cecilia is Joanne, our fundraising supervisor. In between Cecilia and Joanne is Stephanie, my mentor. It was a little cold that morning!
Monday, March 29, 2010
Just made my first candle order (11 candles). Thank you to those that have supported the cause! We ran 13 miles last Saturday. It was kind of funny because I have been used to going so much farther. It was cool to say, "Yeah, I only had to run 13 miles." I was sort of fresh even when we finished.
One of our team members shared with us on Saturday about her battle with blood cancer. She was diagnosed over 3 years ago. She told us of bone marrow biopsy's and being in the hospital for long periods of time. She has been in remission since November of 2007. She is now going to run the marathon with us! She had an incredibly encouraging story. Thanks to what research programs like LLS do, she was able to beat it. 20 years ago her chances may not have been as great. I am thankful for organizations like that this are working hard to make life for cancer patients, longer, and better.
In a few weeks we will be doing a "Train Run." We will head down near the beach. Then, take a train ride all the way to the beach and run back the way we came. It is a 16 mile run. With pizza and beer (though I doubt that I will want beer after running that far) at the finish.
Tomorrow is another speed workout, repeat 400's. Which means I have to run an entire lap around a track in a certain amount of time and then I get a break and then I get to do it eleven more times. :-P
Have a great week everyone!
Saturday, March 20th, 2010
As I sit here writing this new post, I have just finished running 20 miles for the first time! It is a pretty amazing feeling. And it's now just the cold from the ice. I have an ice pack on each knee (precaution only... they are a little sore, but nothing bad).
I have added a post on my blog about my honorary teammate Jeannine. Please keep her in your prayers. Her cancer cell count is too high to get the stem cell transplant she needs. You can read more if you CLICK HERE
I am also still selling candles... if you would like to purchase one (or more) send me an email. More info if you CLICK HERE
If you were waiting to donate until later, NOW IS THE TIME!! I am a little over half way from my goal and I can't stop yet!! If I don't raise all the money, they charge my credit card!! (yikes). I am also going to have another garage sale in April. Shelley (my mother in law) is itching to clean out her garage and has lovingly decided to let me have a garage sale and put all the money towards my fundraising! I will keep everyone posted as to what day that will be. If you have anything you would like to donate please let me know so I can pick it up!!
Have a great week everyone... my speed work out and tempo runs are kicked up a notch this week, which makes my long run a little shorter next week (recovery! only 13 miles!)
Thanks again for your support!!
Love, Mindie

Ok, so I ran 19 miles on Saturday, and when I fished I was feeling pretty good. The next day, however, was not so great. I usually use a product called, "Face Food" around my eyes to prevent the sweat from irritating my skin, but I can't seem to find it. Plus, I ran out of eye make-up remover. I woke up Sunday morning to extremely puffy eyes. I looked like Rocky after a 20 rounder. Not to mention that the past couple of nights I had not slept well, and then throw in the time change, and my face suffered the most consequences. :( Thankfully my eyes are healing. I finished my speed workout today as well. It's nice to know that even when I run 10 minute miles on the weekends, I can still get some sub 8 minute times in during my other training days. I really love running, it takes my mind off of every day stresses. Next weekend I have a 20 miler!!
I am still selling candles to make some extra money for my fundraising. My sample candle smells AMAZING and it made my entire house smell good, even upstairs in Kellen's bedroom! It was lit downstairs! Please let me know if you would like to order one. (more info HERE)
If you were thinking about donating, please don't wait!! :) I have a little less than $1250 to go! I need your help! Also, I am going to have one more garage sale at Shelley Gilliland's house, if you have items you would like to donate, please let me know so I can pick them up.
Have a great week everyone!
Wedneday, March 9th, 2010
Another week of training, and I have made my progressional goal!! I will now get (I think) a pair of flame socks to wear during the race.
I finally made the collage with the pictures I was given of my honorary teammates. Jenny and Jeannine. I will also be posting a link to Jeannine's story in her own words... stay tuned.
ALSO- I am selling Gold Canyon Candles to raise some additional funds, if you would like to purchase one or some, CLICK HERE to get more information.
The candles are pretty great. They burn from 50-200 hours depending on the size, they come in several scents and they are a GREAT GIFT!! Send me an email (mindieg@verizon.net) or chat with me on FB if you would like to purchase. Again, additional info can be found by clicking above.
Tempo run tomorrow... have a great day everyone!! Saving lives... one mile at a time.
Sunday, March 7th, 2010
The garage sale was a success. I made $105.00 thanks to item donations from Stephanie Bradsher and Tymon and Brittani Gilliland! I have to raise $165 by the 16th to get my incentive socks! :) They are purple with green flames! I was hoping to wear them during my race, but I need some more donations!!
I completed my first 18 miler on Friday. I was wiped out the rest of the day. I need to purchase some energy boosting substances (one is called Gu) to take during my run... it is usually just sugar. I love that I don't have to run by myself though. I have made some great friends and they are real nice. If you haven't donated yet, and you were planning on it, now is the time! Have a great week everyone!
Monday, March 1st, 2010
Alright, even though it was pouring down rain on Saturday morning, we tretched through the crazy cold and ran 17 miles!!! I have NEVER ran that far in my life! It's funny how your body adapts to distances. Last week 15 miles was hard, this week 15 wasn't so bad, but man did 17 make the joints and muscles ache. I am thankful that I can usually take a nap later in the day to recover a little.
Reminder- if you have any items you can donate to the garage sale, please let me know so I can arrange a way to pick them up from you. PLEASE pray that it doesn't rain Saturday, so the garage sale will go on! Well, until my next update, have a great week everyone!
Thursday, February 25th, 2010
Had another workout today, almost didn't finish before it got dark. However, there were plenty of street lights to guide me home. Some of my mail-in donations finally made it online! It takes about 10 days for them to post. I have almost $1,000.00 so far. I will be sending out emails once I can confirm dates and information for additional fundraising tools that I am going to use. I have a few things to work with. The garage sale is on March 6th, if you have any items you would like to donate, 100% of the sales will go directly to my fundraising. I am going to speak with a Chick-fil-a manager tomorrow about fundraising with them. One of my cousins sells candles and there is an opportunity to fundraise with her. Also, I found a fundraising tool with Samaritan's Fundraising (the Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse). SO- hopefully this will help me reach my goal. As always, thank you so much for your support... I have a 17 miler on Saturday!
Also- I added a new post on my blog about Aunt Jenny... click here to see it.
Monday, February 22nd, 2010
Wow, another tough week of training. My family was out of town because my Great Grandmother turned 90 years old! I'm committed to the training, so I ran 15 miles by myself. I started at 5:30am and it was a little tough to see my GPS watch at first, but once it started to lighten up outside, it was fine. Just found out that they annouced the course route online for our race. CLICK HERE to see a map of the Rock N Roll Race. The finish line is inside Sea World!! How cool is that?! More blogs to come!
Tuesday, February 16th, 2010
A special thank you to Grandma & Grandpa Bardsley, Grandpa Knight, the Fisher's, the Poteet's and the Testa's for their mail-in contribution! I have sent your donations to LLS and they will be processed within the next 10 days. I am now $2,000 away from my requirement and $4500 away from my goal. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!! More updates and photos to follow!
Sunday, February 14th, 2010
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I have to say that this week of training was tough. For a few reasons, we decided to go to Disneyland the day before my long run this week, and we didn't get home until real late, and then I had to get up real early, and I had to run 13 miles! My hip is a little sore, I need to find a chiroprator.
It wasn't all bad though. I had the privilage of running with one of the other mentors on the Temecula team. Her name is Cecilia and she is a breast cancer survivor. As we were running, I shared a little bit of my life with her, and came to find out that she is a Christian which was just so God! He knew I would need some godly encouragement along this road. Any way, she told me of her battle with breast cancer back in 2003. Six rounds of chemotherapy and 36 rounds of radiation later, she is in remission and beat cancer. It was so amazing to hear her story. We also shared of friends and family members currently fighting cancer. It is difficult to hear sometimes. I am so emotional and cry every time I hear a story of another person that lost their fight, especially children. It is hard not to become an avid spokesperson for this cause when EVERYONE around me is effected by this in some way. I just pray that they know the hope and love of Christ during their battle. Only he can comfort hearts completely. Thank you to those that have joined me in the fight. Your donations help continue research that will save lives. Have a great week everyone!

Hey Everyone! Hope your week is going well... I completed another training today, running 6 miles total. My brother is visiting from Nevada and he was gracious enough to watch the little guy while I completed my run. Looking forward to Saturday and our 13 mile run! Happy 4 day weekend to those of you with the President's weekend off!!
February 6, 2010
Today was our first day of training. Because I made the mistake of telling them that I am a runner, I got to "start" at a different level than everyone else. We arrived at 7am to get started and it was POURING down raining!! Our coach and fundraising leader spoke for a little while in hopes that some of the rain would pass, but even after almost an hour, it was still coming down. They had pretty much decided that the day was shot for training when we all of us made the decision that we might as well get to it since we were already there. So, I headed out to start my 12 miler at a slow jog of 9:51 per mile. I am used to about an 8:30 mile pace, still not the fastest, but I didn't realize how hard it would be to have to go slower. Even though it was coming down hard, my mentor Stephanie, and my coach Brian checked in on me to make sure I was doing ok, it was really cool. By the time my run was done, I was drenched!!! I had on a tank top, my TNT shirt, and a long sleeve and they were ALL sopping wet. Ceclia (another TNT mentor) loaned me a hat to keep the rain off my face. My coach cut my run a little short because of the rain, so I only did 11 miles. I like the rain, but man having honorary team mates today reminded me why I run, to help find a cure. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone! Stay dry!

I have decided to add another honorary team member. I almost forgot about this amazing woman because she doesn't allow the focus of her life to be the cancer she has been suffering from to overtake her. Her name is Jeannine Martineau and she is currently fighting a multiple myeloma affecting her bone marrow. She is working to get a stem cell transplant to help prolong her life. I am not sure if I can describe Jeannine in such a short paragraph, but I will try. She is selfless, hard working, loving and a serrogant mother to my husband and I. She is one of the hardest working women I know and it is a privillege to help her in her fight against cancer.
Click here to see Jeannine's Picture

This is Aunt Jenny and her family. Aunt Jenny has been battling a cancerous tumor in her left shoulder for over 13 years. A few years back she had her arm removed, and is still battling. God is good and has taken care of Aunt Jenny and her family. For those of you that don't know this AMAZING and humble woman, I thought I would put a picture with the name.
