Nugents on the Run!
WHO:
Joe "Anything But Average" & Felicia "Five Feet of Fury" Nugent
LAST SEEN:
Running! At the gym, on the treadmill at home, through Heritage Park on Saturday mornings with Team in Training, around the streets of Aliso Viejo...you name it! These two have turned into running fools!
WANTED:
Your donation! This will help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society add to the more than $600 million they have invested in research to combat leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, myeloma and other cancers from taking more lives!
REWARD:
The warm and fuzzies inside, knowing that you helped fund critical research that has already helped victims of these terrible diseases with ground-breaking treatments! (Not to mention a nice write-off, all donations are tax-deductible!)
Well, we hope we've already put a smile on your face, but the truth is cancer is no laughing matter. Joe lost his father to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2003, and Felicia never had the privilege of meeting him. Felicia's cousin was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease as a young adult. Although it was found in a late stage, he made a full recovery and now lives a healthy life as an L.A. City Firefighter, thanks to organizations like Team in Training.
That is why we are training to participate in Seattle's Rock 'n' Roll Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop these blood cancers from taking more lives. We are completing this event in memory of those we have lost and in honor of all those continuing to fight the good fight. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
