Hey everyone, I'm down to my last week of fundraising. This time around, it's been harder than any other time I have fundraised. I tried to raise all of my money through events and not bother people for donations, but it wasn't mean to be. Spiked Paint iin Fullerton s too much fun!!! We had a fundraiser there last night and everyone came home with their very own masterpiece!!! It's 21+ and it takes about 2.5 hours to paint your piece, but look at the variety and the creativity!!! How beautiful!. Oh... and those smiles are real. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks to Erin & Ian for a wonderful evening with great memories for a long time to come. I'll be back... and quick!

Well, we've just completed our Super Bowl pool and raised $1620 total over 3 pools. What a great turnout!!! So, we are going to keep plugging away at our fundraising. We have scheduled a night of painting, a bunco party, an Oscars pool, March Madness, a Laugh Factory trip and a taping of the tv show "Love You, Mean It". It's looking to be a busy month of February, and we aren't slowing down!! Please be sure to keep posted with all of our activities, cause we have door prizes and incentives to participate. We went to Let's Make a Deal this past Saturday and had a blast!!!! We raised $320 and had a winner winner winner picked to go down and play!!! I've already booked anouther taping, and tapings for the Whitney shows. Hopefully I'll get the checks soon, so we can see the fruits of our labor.... as if this was work!!

For years I've wanted to start running again. At least that's what I've been telling people. But I'm a firm believer that you don't really mean it, if all you do is talk. About a month ago I was talking with an old friend about doing half-marathons, as she had just completed her first. We were laughing about how silly we were to sign up for them and how much we didn't enjoy the experience. But I guess that wasn't true, cause when I was invited to register for the Paris FULL marathon, I jumped on the opportunity. I talked a different friend into signing up and we registered. It wasn't until she had paid her registration fee that I realized that the marathon will cause me to miss my Bareboat Sailing Certification course. The course I have been training for since January last year. Oh well. I'll do that after Paris. Sailing is better when you are lighter anyhow. SO- back to my story, I keep saying I want to run. So here I am, registered for the Paris marathon in April. I have 5 months to train. Now, I don't plan to run the marathon, just part of it. My goal is to run one, walk one and so on. This will be most beneficial when I stop to pose in front of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame and other landmarks in Paris. No one wants to be red faced in their touristy pics.

In exchange and for this amazing opportunity, I have signed up to be a part of Team in Training again. They train me, and in return, I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To do this I will be hosting fundraisers and begging people for monies to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma.
