By now most of you know my involvement with (LLS) The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and (TNT) Team in Training, two organizations that sparkled my love for the endurance sports, helping me to develop compassion for those with need.
In August 2012, I will be participating in the ultimate endurance challenge, the Ironman U.S. Championship in N.Y. / N.J. As I take the challenge to conquer the course of 2.4 mile swim in the Hudson River, 112 mile cycling in the beautiful Palisades Park, 26.2 mile marathon crossing the George Washington Bridge and a finish line in Manhattan.
I am asking all my family members, friends and business associates to join me in the fight to end cancer by pledging a financial contribution of $1.00! Yes, you read it right, “ONE BUCK!” “It is not about how much you give, but how many people will hear the message”. My goal is to reach 3,900 people. I need each one of you to help me to reach my goal by forwarding this e-mail to anyone who is interested in joining me on this journey to save lives.
