Welcome to my Team in Training Fundraising page for Summer season!

UPDATE 4/18/12 - Hello!! Only 46 days until the San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon! A few weeks ago, I ran the NYC Half Marathon through the streets of Manhattan. I had a really strong race and acheived a PR! Sweet! I'll be running the Brooklyn Half in May, and then it will be time for the big event in June - San Diego!
FYI: I am raising (at least) $500 this season which will go directly to the mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I will be covering all of my own race and travel expenses, so that all donations will go directly toward the mission of curing cancer. Donations are greatly appreciated!

In January, I completed the Tinkerbell Half Marathon in Disneyland. I ran the 13.1 miles with my sister-in-law, Chelsea, and we had a very fun time. A great day!

Go Team!
You'll never believe it... I'm training for another full marathon!!
This year I hope to run the San Diego Rock N Roll full marathon on June 3rd, 2012.

The San Diego Marathon was the first event I did with Team In Training back in 2000! I trained for it during my freshman year at college with my friend Jody when I was just 19. The race was hot and a bit lonely, but it was an unforgettable experience. I look forward to revisiting the race this summer.

This will be my fifth Team in Training season. In addition to San Diego in 2000, I trained with TNT for the New York City Marathon in 2010, the New Jersey Half Marathon in 2011, and the Marine Corps Marathon in DC on October 30th, 2011. NYC was a difficult race, but incredible experience. The Marine Corps marathon was a ton of fun and one of the best days of my life.

Go Team Brooklyn!
I love Team in Training. I love the comraderie, the coaching, the encouragement, and the fact that we are all raising money for the LLS to help find a cure for blood cancers.

Why do I continue to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society?
If you'd like to help support the LLS mission, consider donating. Your money will go toward cancer research, patient services, and public health education. It is an important cause and I greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you!
