who has supported me throughout my mission to train, fundraise, and complete this race on June 6, 2010!!!




This marathon is in honor of my Dad- Leonard Grassi, who died from Cancer, and all individuals who are battling cancer!!! We need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! I have been touched by Cancer in many ways and lost too many friends & family members to this devastating disease.



Two of my best and closest friends lost their Mom's this year to cancer and I will run and dedicate this race to them as well! I will also run in honor of Ms. Carmen Galarza.


All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.




*** Did you know research funded by LLS and funds raised by TNT have led or contributed to advances such as chemotherapy, bone marrow and stem cell transplantaion and new, targeted oral therapies such as Gleevec! My fundraising goal is $2,900 in order to race. ***

The need for a cure is CRITICAL.


An estimated 912,938 people in the United States are living with, or are in remission from, leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non- Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma.



  • EVERY four minutes, someone new is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every 10 minutes, someone dies :-(.


  • Almost everyone will know, has known, or has been personally affected by cancer in one way or another.



My goal is to reach the finish line, I have raised $2,175 to fight blood cancers (with your help), and inspire others to join this amazing cause.



I will do ALL the physical work in this relationship, but

I need your help and support today!




I'm serious about finding a cure!
