Hello friends -


As I'm sure you know, I've run a lot of races. However, I've never run for a cause as I've been waiting for the right opportunity. This is it.


The NYC Tri will be held on July 8, 2012 and it seems like the perfect challenge. A mile in the nasty Hudson, followed by an almost 25 mile bike ride, then a 6.2 mile run. This is a challenge like no other I've faced, and I am proud to be doing it as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training.


Nothing could motivate my ass more than raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.


Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures. I, and those we are helping, will be forever grateful!


Not sure where I’ll be posting updates, but for now, I’m planning on including it on my Motivate Your Ass blog. Hope you follow along – and of course cheer me on in July.
