Braving the Jellyfish, This Time for a Cause!
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
As some of you know, I completed the NYC Triathlon last year, braving the waters of the Hudson and (unknown to me prior to that morning) jellyfish. This year, I know what I'm up against, but I have the additional challenge of fundraising for a very worthy cause.
I'm training this year as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Please support my efforts in any way you can afford == I know these are tough economic times, but every dollar counts.

UPDATE: Thanks to my friends and family who have contributed so far, I've hit my minimum fundraising goal of $2,600, but have raised my personal goal to $3,600 == an additional $1,000 goes a long way to support the work of LLS.
