I did it!!! 26.2 miles through the streets of NYC. It was an amazing experience and I am so honored to have run in honor of Alex and all those affected by cancer.
Thanks to all those who have supported me over these past few months. Thanks for the encouraging words, facebook messages, texts and phone calls! My cheerleaders on race day were incredible and really helped keep me going.
I am proud to say I reached my goal and ran the race in 4:00:52. And SUPER excited that my last mile was 8:05 minutes. As they say, I ran that last leg with my heart!
