So here we are again...another 26.2 miles.
Another litany of 6AM Saturday morning wake-up calls, ice baths galore, and more blue toenails than any of us care to talk about or remember.
So then. Why.
I am running for those who can't. For those who spend every day in a hospital fighting for their lives. For those whose immune systems and GI tracts and hair follicles are weak from chemo and radiation. For those who aren't sure when their next bone marrow biopsy will come back normal.
I am running because I know far we have come. How much LLS has pushed cancer research to the max. And yet, because I also know that there is still so much yet to be done.
Please help me in this by making a donation. In doing so, you too will become part of the fight against blood cancers, and you won't even have had to run a marathon or lose a single toenail to do it!
