Family & Friends,

I’m excited to share this will be my fourth season with  Moms In Training (MIT), a fitness and fundraising program for moms benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)! LLS has invested $1.2 billion in lifesaving blood cancer research, patient services and advocacy with the goal to find a cure, and I’m proud to be involved.

My hard work fundraising and training is dedicated to Harry.  As you already know, in May 2014 my cousin, Amy and her husband Kenny, heard the crushing words ‘Your child has cancer’ as their fifteen year old son, Harry, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer - blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm. Harry’s treatment is continuing on schedule with and, according to his parents, is an inspiration. He’s taking his treatment in stride and keeping up with his school work. He was just named editor-in-chief of the school paper. While no seventeen year old should have to deal with what Harry is going through his approach is phenomenal!
