I'm kicking off my 7th seasons with Team In Training. If you can't tell, I'm hooked!
My past seasons have included the NYC Triathlon (3x) which is how I first got into Team In Training. Since then, I've run multiple half marathons, and am super pumped for what 2014 holds. In 2013 alone, I competed in over 160miles worth of races so far, and I feel fantastic, and know I'm doing something fantastic that will change lives.
Season #7) Mont Tremblant 70.3 Half Ironman with Team IronBrooklyn! (June 2014)
Like many others that I race with, I have seen the effects that cancer have had on loved ones, and I have seen and experienced the damage and impact it can have on a family. We all have been here, indirectly or directly, seeing or hearing about someone with cancer.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for all cancers, and to improve the quality of care and research that goes in. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating and mentoring as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Together, we're raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well. PLEASE make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures. Similar to past seasons, I'll be updating you on my fundraising and training progress via the following link:
