Running in honor of Rachel.


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I am so proud to be running in honor of Rachel Rothman. Rachel is a beautiful 11 year old girl who just completed her final treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma. I am thrilled to report that Rachel has been given a clean bill of health and will continue to be monitored by her doctors on a regular basis.


The above picture was taken last year prior to Rachel's diagnosis, and shows that this disease can happen to anyone. As you can see, Rachel has an amazing spirit and attacked her illness with the same intensity that she did this watergun fight last April. I'm participating in the Hamptons Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training, to raise funds to continue finding treatments and cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. Not everyone is as lucky as Rachel.
