Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
This fall, my colleagues and I lost Ellen Kushman a member of our work family to a two-year battle with blood cancer. After her passing, a group of us decided to form Team Ellen and train to run a half-marathon in the city that she loved and called home, New York.
We are working together to train and fundraise to support research for blood cancers including: leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's diease and myeloma. Through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training we will all train for three months and participate in a 13.1 mile endurance run on March 17th. In essense, we hope to better the lives of others as we better ourselves.
You can follow the progress of my team and I here on my page. I plan to write regular updates on both my training and fundraising.
Whether you knew Ellen or not, please support Team Ellen as we raise funds to help advance the research for cures.
