Racing to Save Lives
Welcome
to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to
participate in the NYC HALF MARATHON on March 21, 2010 as a member of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In
Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin
lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in
honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are
the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the
ultimate finish line - a cure!
Joining Team in Training was made possible by my good friends Mark and Cheryl. I can not thank them enough and I know I will make them proud.
I was pretty close to signing up for a whole marathon, possibly one in Vancouver, but that will have to be the next step. I am pretty excited about NYC being my first Half Marathon. It's official, 13.1 Miles here I come!
