$20 to Fight Cancer

Every 10 minutes,

someone dies from a blood cancer.

This statistic represents

nearly 146 people each day,

or more than six people every hour.

I am training to run my fifth marathon through Team In Training to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I want you to help me raise money to help combat cancer!

25% of funds that I raise go to the LLS to keep it running while the other 75% go directly to research, patient & family services, and cancer education. Cancer does not take a break for the economy and neither does Team In Training.

Thank you again to everyone who has contributed so far! I have met and surpassed my minimum but I am not stopping now because every dollar raised now goes directly to research, patient & family services, and cancer education so your $20 can make a important difference!!
