Welcome (or welcome back!) to my Team In Training home page!

As you know by now, because I have told everyone about a million times, I'm training to participate in the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, TN as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

Any contribution is 100% tax-deductible and just think, you don't even have to do any running! I have all the sporty togs for that, and wait until you read about my VanHalentine's Day 18 mile run!!!

I have RACED 42.6 miles since I started training for this marathon, including those 2 half-marathons and a 5K that moved me up a New York Road Runners group (making me officially "kinda fast"). This has been an amazing experience so far and it's for a wonderful cause. Please help me get to Nashville (which is now LESS THAN 2 months away!!!!) I got the legs, now I need the dollars!

I am also planning my fall races for one I complete this one, so if you have ideas, send 'em on!! In the meantime, enjoy this cute pic of me and Basil (rhymes with "dazzle," not "hazel" after I told him he is running the marathon with me (just kidding- that would be animal cruelty!)
