Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

500 miles, 20 bottles of gatorade, 20 Gu.s, a couple of hysteric moments runnings, and $4,150 later - it has come to this - 6 days until the marathon.
Of course there will be a final notice of my endeavors, but before I run I owe a huge THANK YOU to all of my supporters, friends, running buddies, family who not only donated to the cause but have been ROCK STAR encouragers. Thank you.
Here goes nothing.....

Rather each body part will serve as space to honor any Survivor who may be part of your life OR a group you are supporting. Love goes out to my Grandpa Naumoff who just passed away after a courageous fight with cancer. I'll always remember his love for families, babies, and Santa Claus. :) Toast to Gramps!
Last May I started my own journey, as I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphona. To say the least, the experience was not one I had included as part of my '10 year plan.'
However, 6 months later I am happy to report I am in remission and regard my experience as a very positive journey. I had an amazing support network of family and friends, gained insight into Wayne County that will always be a part of me, and helped elect the next President of the United States.
During my treatment, one of my favorite parts of the day was walking and later running our country 2.2 mile block. When I returned to Brooklyn in November, I wanted to continue this connection to nature - despite a new environment.
I couldn't think of a more appropriate endeavor than running a marathon with Team in Training. Not only as a physical challenge, but to embrace my experience and ensure that all patients have such a positive journey.
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Although I thought I had a better chance of winning a dance marathon, I will be running the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, TN.
See you at the finish line on April 25th, country style.
Thanks for ALL of your AMAZING support!!
Lots o' Love,
