Racing to Save Lives
Hi everyone! Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
In my third go round with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training, I'm training to participate in St. Anthony's Triathlon (Swim 1.5K - Bike 40K - Run 10K) on Sunday, April 25th. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's Lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, and in particular Drew Olanoff who just finished his last round of chemo for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, my friend Bryan Thatcher's young niece, Emily Thatcher, and cancer beating champ Brian August, as well as in memory of my Aunt Virginia (Dinky) Cimo, who just lost her battle this February. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
