Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I have recently committed to train for and compete in the St Anthony's Triathlon on April 26th, 2009 with Team In Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Training for this event will be difficult but the real challenge is working to find a cure for blood cancers.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. There are so many people out there who have suffered from or been effected by cancer.

The generous people who donate their time, their effort and their money to causes like the LLS make those treatments possible. 75% of every dollar I raise will go directly to research and patient care. Once I exceed my fund raising goal of $4,700 100% of every dollar will go to funding.

Why a triathlon? The triathlon parallels my fundraising efforts:

I am given a goal that I need to achieve. I work my butt off to reach and exceed that goal.

In training I have my teammates and coaches to help me along the way. With fundraising you are my teammates...I can't do this alone. I need your help.

I am completing this event in honor of all kids and adults who are battling blood cancers.

Donation is simple. You can do so online on this very page with your credit or debit card. If you prefer to write a check please make it out to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Be sure to put my name and St Anthony's Tri in the memo line. You can mail the check to me at PO Box 1442 New York, NY 10185. All donations are 100% tax deductible. I know times are tough and money is tight, but every little bit helps.

These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
