Friends, family, & colleagues, welcome to my team page. On June 20th, 2009 I'm taking on the biggest challenge of my life - running a marathon.
I've done a lot of difficult things in my life - a backflip on a 4 inch balance beam, skied a double black diamond in the Rocky Mountains, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane...but one thing I haven't done is run a marathon, and for that I need your help!
I'm packing up my bags and heading to Alaska to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing in this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. And don't forget, it's a tax write-off for 2009 - wouldn't you rather give to charity, than to our government???
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress.
Thanks for your support!
Love,
Nicole
