Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to our team's Team In Training home page!
We are excited to train for the Oklahoma City Redman Triathlon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! If you know someone impacted by blood cancers, please let us know and we'd be happy to complete the triathlon in their honor!
We have never done a high endurance event like this before so it will be a challenge! The OKC Redman is on Saturday, September 24, 2011. We will be completeing a half Ironman...a 1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run! Whew!
We'd greatly appreciate a donation of any amount to support our team's participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Every dollar counts!
We hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see our progress. Thanks for your support!
